Our Trauma Rehabilitation Clinic treats patients with complex long-term medical conditions.

We specialise in treating conditions which require complex trauma intervention and rehabilitation such as complications from elective surgery, a traumatic injury or serious accident.

In every case, our trauma rehabilitation programme focuses on the patient and incorporates a realistic time-frame. The aim is always to create a rehabilitation programme, which can achieve the patients’ quality-of-life goals.

The Paddock Clinic offers specialist trauma rehabilitation physiotherapy, often working with consultants or as part of a large medical rehabilitation team, brought together by the patient’s case manager. Crucially, we are also available for home visits to treat patients in the early stages of their rehabilitation programmes.

The Paddock Clinic specialises in the creation and management of complex rehabilitation physiotherapy programmes for conditions arising from:

  • Road traffic collisions
  • Post-fracture rehabilitation
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation including joint replacements
  • Sporting injuries
  • Spinal pain or post spinal surgery
  • Lupus
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
  • Osteoporosis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Axial Spondyloarthritis and Axial Spondyloarthropathies
  • Complex pathologies (where surgery is not possible)

In addition to physiotherapy, where beneficial, our practitioners are able to access The Paddock Pool to incorporate hydrotherapy as part of the rehabilitation treatments for the patient.
